Created for the drawing-obsessed artist,, this class will be super fun and challenging! We will learn 3D drawing techniques, how to do contour drawings, draw people, and so much more! Ages 9-13. Grab your snorkel and dive in — no wetsuit required! Under the Waves is an art camp week that plunges campers into the shimmering, mysterious world beneath the surface of our beautiful Florida waters. From graceful sea turtles and spotted rays to tiny seahorses and dazzling schools of fish, the ocean is the most colorful art studio on earth. Campers will paint luminous underwater scenes, sculpt their favorite sea creatures in clay, weave and print patterns inspired by coral reefs, and create their own cast of colorful ocean characters. Get ready to make some serious waves!

Your child will spend their mornings making real art inspired by the cosmos — and the artists who dared to imagine it. Over five days, campers explore the work of Alma Thomas, Alan Bean, Chesley Bonestell, NASA’s mission patch designers, and Vincent van Gogh — then respond with their own paintings, collages, and a collaborative mural unveiled at a Friday family showcase.

Who we are
Hi, I'm Ms. Milady — the person behind The Created Studio.
I've spent the last 6 years as a certified K–12 art educator in Brevard County and 3 years before that teaching homeschool students, which means I've seen firsthand what happens when a kid who "can't draw" is handed a paintbrush and given permission to just make something. Spoiler: it's magic every single time.
I find inspiration everywhere — a beautifully designed room, a illustrated kids' book, a trip somewhere new. I'm the person who notices the color palette in a restaurant and mentally redesigns it on the drive home. Ideas are everywhere if you're paying attention, and it's my job to help my students see that too.
The Created Studio exists because I believe one thing deeply: we are created to create, not to consume. Making something with your own hands — whether you're six or sixty, whether it's "good" or not — is one of the most fundamentally human things you can do. This studio is the place I built so more people could do exactly that.
